Information we collect

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries and assess potential transactions; to communicate with you; to operate, secure and improve the website; to understand which audiences our content reaches; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Cookies and consent

Aggregate, cookieless analytics run by default. Product analytics (which includes session replay) and business-visitor identification run only after you accept on the consent banner. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who help us operate the website and our business, under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide their service. These include providers of website hosting and infrastructure, our database, email delivery, product analytics, and business-visitor identification. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or to regulators, professional advisers, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

Overseas disclosure

The database in which enquiry information is stored is hosted in Australia. Some of our other service providers are located in, or store data in, the United States — including providers of our website hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, product analytics, business-visitor identification, and the AI assistant. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Data breaches

If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will respond in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required.

Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also make a complaint if you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles — please contact us first and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate your complaint to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
